Replay Radio is available on a subscription basis for two reasons: a.) we are actively maintaining and improving the media guide for the app. The subscription model allows us to keep the guide current and make the nearly-daily updates to the guide that are required. b.) the developers of the new audio technology included in Replay Radio are charging us on a monthly basis - by offering the program on a subscription model we can afford to include this wonderful new technology in the program.
